An Italian Affair – presented by Clark Robert Hernandez!

Clark will prepare the following 3-course meal, all handmade from scratch for up to 6 people. Dinner will include:

            - Caesar Salad with fresh-made dressing using a beloved recipe from PEO’s own Dayle Kerstad;

            - Meat balls and pasta, hand rolled beef meat balls topped with tomato-based sauce all over freshly made noodles and

            - Last, but not least, a refreshing cup of ice cream with almond cookies.

Winning bidder can choose to:

1. Invite Clark, his prep cook and your guests to your own home where he will prep, cook and serve you.
2. Come with your guests to Clark’s home in Vallejo where you and your guests will have the choice of dining outside with heat lamps or inside.
3. Have Clark deliver the meal to your home with all the fixings where all will be transferred into your cookware and you can impress your guests with a fabulous “home cooked” meal.

Clark is currently in the 11^th grade at Benicia High School. He’s been cooking at home since he was 4 years old. His restaurant career began in 2018 when he was hired as a dishwasher at Vallejo’s own Mare Island Brewery. Head chef and former PEO Scholar, Scotti Hazeltine, encouraged Clark and before long he was doing food prep. This past summer, Clark worked full time as a Prep Cook. Each step of the way Clark has demonstrated a work ethic, dedication and drive that has had all to do with his success.

For several years Clark has helped at Applemania. In Clark’s words…“PEO has been a part of my life for my whole life. Anytime there is a chance to help, I will do it.”

Clark’s other interests include music, all kinds and at all times; practicing driving; coffee, making and buying it, hot, cold, day or night; and Dungeons and Dragons, which he can play for hours with his friends.

Date to be mutually agreed upon between donor and winning bidder.

Offer good until June 2020 and limited to Vallejo, Benicia and American Canyon.
