A note from the artist:

“I wanted to create a Little Free Library that was inspired by my imagination as a child. I loved being in nature and imaging I could live with the animals. I believe stories and books help foster this creative mind in children. Along with my imagination, I wanted to bring in elements that are native to Arizona like the landscape. I wanted to focus on realism, with parts of expression and fantasy.”

Artist bio:

Paige Reesor is a local Tempe artist, who has dedicated her life to art, community, and teaching.  Not only is she a professional artist, but a public middle school art teacher.  Paige got her Bachelors in Fine Arts in Art Education with an emphasis in painting from Western Michigan University. She believes students should be exposed to the Arts, and sees the value of what art can do in a child's life. It is all about giving back to the community and creating a better future. Along with being an educator, Paige helps manage a wine and paint studio called Painting With A Twist.
