Naming Right to a .07 acre freshwater pond at the Coastal Heritage Preserve is located on the Anchor Bay Penninsula!

Get your feet wet here! This very small but, mighty .07 acre pond. This pond is viewed 5.5 along our 4,090 foot long trail ontop of the Anchor Bay Penninsula.This pond is located in a small nock of elevation and is just a bit higher than the surrounding salt water marshes.

Daily this pond is flourishing with little green herons, mottled ducks, night herons, bitterns, and more. On the Anchor Bay Penninsula this is a rare place for fresh water for mammals and birds. Even the Ghost Wolves have been seen using this small but, mighty pond. This pond is at the intersection of the two new trails (up for naming rights) on the new Anchor Bay land.
