Weekend in Detroit: One-Night Stay in Historic Indian Village AirBnb and a variety of GC's for food

Spend the weekend in an apartment in a Historic Indian Village mansion with easy access to a number of great family activities. Visit the beach, Nature Zoo, Conservatory, Aquarium and Great Lakes Museum on Belle Isle. Hit the Splash pad in Mt Elliot park and the Cullen Family Carousel and fountains in Rivard Plaza. Rent bikes on the East Riverfront and ride up the Dequindre cut to Eastern Market. And lots more. A written guide to family fun favorites, sights, restaurants and shops will be provided by your host.

While you’re in town, enjoy meals at some local hotspots including $35 for breakfast at the great Red Hook Coffee shop, $35 for a snack at the James Beard award nominated Sister Pie bakeshop, $75 for cocktails or dinner at New American Eatery Craftwork, and $25.00 at Pizza Supino. Don't forget to wear your 2 Pizza Supion shirts while you're at it.

Get up close and personal with Detroit's Historic Indian Village.   4 tickets to the Indian Village Home and Garden Tour includes Burns, Iroquois and Seminole Avenues from East Jefferson running one mile north to Mack Avenue. Although there are features on many homes that fall into a distinct architectural style, Indian Village can best be described as eclectic.  Tickets are good for either Saturday June 9th at 9am or Sunday June 10th at 11:30 am.

Apartment features one bedroom with queen bed and optional portable crib, one bedroom with a fold out queen bed, playroom with two twin beds (and tons of toys), full bath with shower, stocked kitchenette with coffee maker and fridge, wifi and gated off-street parking.
