He is an avid hiker which allows him to find unique locations. “Be one of the lucky people each day to draw a permit, hike 6-7 miles roundtrip often through the sandy soil, navigate a route that can sometimes be hard to follow, and voila! You’re at The Wave in the North Coyote Buttes section of the Vermilion Cliffs National Monument, a spectacular red rock area in the Arizona Strip. On this visit, a notch near The Wave proper provided a perfect frame for the waning quarter moon.”
