This original oil painting is framed in a black floater frame measuring 13.5"x13.5"x2". The flowers may be gone but it is not the end. What remains is the 'fruit' that held the flowers up. It will change color as it matures. Each fruit is filled with pulp and SEEDS OF REBIRTH. They are an edible delight for birds, squirrels, jackrabbits, and other desert dwellers, as well as humans. The seeds will be dropped and new growth will begin, repeating the rebirth of the prickly pear cactus.
