Every Spring the desert comes alive and I anticipate the 'big show' of the prickly pear cactus and their blooms. Their tightly closed buds basking in the sun... just waiting to burst open. Soon I'll see the petal color starting to emerge and unfold... in NEW BEGINNINGS.
