Sky Poppies - Fused Glass - Pat Isaacson measures 15" x 12" x 4" and comes with a custom metal stand.
Playing in the field of poppies brings out our inner child. This one-of-a-kind glass piece takes you back to your childhood. It was made by piling glass scraps in a mold with holes in the bottom, then heating it enough for the glass to flow through the holes and onto the kiln shelf. It's called a "Pot Melt". After the initial firing, it is cold worked extensively to finish the back and edges of the piece. It is transparent when held to the light, and beautiful near a window or other light source. The custom stand is included.
