The Champion Campaign is a powerful invitation to support 10 of our lead artists with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) by becoming a $5,000 Artist Champion.

Nathan has an incredibly rare and beautiful mind. He is a talented sketch artist. Often drawing whatever is in his mind- from the history of the television to the process of building a car. His knowledge is limitless. He loves being a part of the Sandal Gap family and we are so lucky to have him as an artist.

Raffi loves painting nature scenes including the likes of beach views and mountain tops, he never leaves a piece of work unfinished. Raffi is also bilingual and is our interpretor for spanish speaking guests. Make sure you get him laughing because he definitely has the best laugh out of the crew.

Kate is a recent college graduate and joined our Sandal Gap family in August of 2023. She loves to create, organize, sing and dance. She attends a local Houston college and is excited about all of her new friends.

Meet the studio cutest salsa dancer! She draws her own original characters with sharpies and colorthat spark delight. You can always find her with hair perfectly done with a bow and a cordinated outfit to match. When she is pleased she gives the sweetest wiggle.

Patrick loves sports and any competition! Patrick works diligently to trace and cut different shapes in dozens of color combinations and arranges the cutouts on poster board in perfect order and balance. Patrick is caring and never forgets to ensure everyone around him is having a good day.

Meet Spiderman’s biggest fan-Pablo! Pablo's artistic process begins with using black and white photography as his canvas and then embellishing with paint pens and paper cutouts. Pablo is always ensuring endless smiles around the studio with his many theatric performances and constantly helps any artist in need of an extra hand throughout the day.

Matias is Sandal Gap Studio's newest artist. Matias is making himself right at home by contributing his love for music, especially the bongos, and love for color! In the short time he has been with us, we can't wimagine what the studio would be without him!

DJ is a brilliant songwriter and lyricist. He keeps a notebook where he handwrites all of his original songs. He then takes lines from his songs, and uses electrical tape to write them on boards, creating unique, modern and edgy pieces of art. He loves Selena Gomez and can outlast anyone on a dance floor.
