Ingrid Powers’ Pottery
For over 40 years, Ingrid has been passionate about ceramics, training and working in various studios throughout the SF Bay Area. Her home studio is where she made pots when not working as a physical therapist.
Ingrid’s style reflects an interest in the everyday vessel for use in cooking and as tableware. She works with both light and dark clay bodies. All her work is handmade on a potter’s wheel and fired in a gas kiln to cone 10. Each piece is designed to encourage not only a tactile experience, but more importantly, reveal how a vessel can interact with food and enhance the experience of eating.
This stunning vase from Ingrid’s London Clay Ceramics measures 9 ½ “ in height and is rich in its simplicity and muted grey tones. A magnificent gift to yourself or to someone you treasure.
