Afghan - “Kay’s Creation”
“Kay’s Creation” by Susan Hill! This magnificent labor of love was crocheted by Susan using acrylic yarns of cottonwood and mocha with a subtle highlight of silver. The exquisite pattern was created using a multiple of stitches, including front and back post stitches, popcorns, puffs and clusters. The afghan measures 52” by 66”.
Susan’s mother crocheted and began teaching Susan when Susan was only ten years old. Determined to do everything her mother did, Susan “began knitting seriously” once she retired Though Susan has consulted with Masters, she is primarily self taught. Susan Hill has been extremely generous in supporting educational opportunities for women over the years. “Kay’s Creation” is just one more example of her generosity and her amazing talent. A beautiful addition to your home….or perhaps a gift that will be treasured…..always!
