From the moment a first-timer witnesses the sun rise above the Bali Sea, with jukungs (traditional fishing boats) at the water’s edge and Lombok Island in the distance, they’re hooked. Maybe it’s the smell of incense from the villager’s religious offerings that permeate the air. Maybe it’s the tranquility of being at a resort that has no mega lobby, food courts, or swim-up bars. Or maybe it’s the absence of other tourists in this less-traveled corner of the island. Whatever the reason, Bali has a vibe that can’t be beat.

Guests will “play” with wild monkeys (if brave enough), enjoy local cuisine, music, and dance. And, of course, everyone will have the opportunity to indulge in plenty of inexpensive massages.
