Durbar Square, Baktapur
An 8 x 10 inch Photograph—Nepal, Kathmandu Valley: Durbar Square, the center of the ancient city of Baktapur was one of the architectural gems of Nepal that dates back to 12th century. The palace in the center survived the earthquake in April 2015, however much of city was destroyed, and over a 1,000 inhabitants lost their lives.
Don Perrault’s photographs in this auction were created while he was traveling in Nepal and Tibet between 2002-2004. His photographs are used to raise awareness for the people, culture, and landscapes in the region, and for financial support for non-profit initiatives across the globe. Don is honored to connect the people, culture, and landscapes of the Himalaya to the members of Natural Dharma Fellowship community to support Wonderwell.
