Langtang Alpenglow

An 8 x 10 inch photograph—Nepal: In Langtang Valley National Park, humans coexist with black bear, red panda, and the yeti. The 10-day trek ascends the mist covered trail along glaciers that flow into the valley. After the earthquake in April 2015, the survivors spent the last year living in tents throughout the monsoon at the Yellow Monastery in Kathmandu. The Tamang people from Langtang are determined to travel back to the Valley and rebuild their lives that were destroyed by the earthquake.
