Khampa WonderMala made and blessed by Lama

The Khampa WonderMala is inspired by the flat-bead malas prefered in the monasteries of Eastern Tibet. This mala is made of saucer-shaped, translucent, deep auburn-colored buffalo horn beads (very hard to find), with turquoise and coral accents, hand-treated with beeswax. The guru bead is a copper tree-of-life charm, reminiscent of the bodhi tree under which the Buddha attained his enlightenment.

The Khampa WonderMala is made with 108 beads, with accent beads placed at the 7th, 21st and 54th beads, as is customary for counting mantras. This mala is made with super-strong cord, for years of regular use. This mala is compact and does not fit easily over the head. It is best worn on the wrist, or carried by pocket.

WonderMalas are made using designs from Eastern Tibet with the old-world philosophy that durability and functionality are the most important qualities for prayer beads.
