Bodhgaya WonderMala, made and blessed by Lama Willa
The Bodhgaya WonderMala is an extra-large lightweight mala, made from beautiful bodhi seeds. The bodhi seed has been valued as a sacred natural material in India for 2600 years, since the time the Buddha attained enlightenment while meditating under a Bodhi tree. These seeds, sourced from Northern India, are remarkably durable and light.
The mala is accented with turquoise from Mexico, coral and pure sterling silver from India. The mala is made with 108 beads, with accent beads placed at the 7th, 21st and 54th beads, as is customary for counting mantras. This mala is made with super-strong cord, for years of regular use, knotted and hand-waxed at the bottom for maximum durability. Beads are approximately 14mm in diameter.
Wondermalas are made using designs from Eastern Tibet with the old-world philosophy that durability and functionality are the most important qualities for prayer beads.
