The Book of the Akita by Joan McDonald Brearley (excellent condition). 272 pages. 8 1/2 in x 11 in. Illustrated throughout with many black and white photographs and 83 in full color.
All of these books would be of interest to anyone who is interested in the beginnings of the Akita in North America and the kennels and names of the those breeders Some contain the pedigrees of many of the foundation Akitas, should anyone want to see the pedigrees of the dogs that go back to their animals.
