Guided Bird Walk (High Country)

Join Audubon North Carolina's Director of Land Bird Conservation, Curtis Smalling, for a 6-hour birding field experience in the North Carolina High Country. This trip can be for just you or for a small group (up to six people).

Curtis is an experienced field trip leader and lifelong birder. He is currently conducting research on the Golden-winged Warbler and other species.

Please note: Winner will need to contact Curtis Smalling by January 15, 2017 to schedule the trip to be taken before June 15, 2017. This trip will be taken in North Carolina High Country, which includes the following counties: Ashe, Alleghany, Watauga, Wilkes, Mitchell, Avery, Caldwell, Alexander, Burke, and Catawba.
