The Resort:

This full-service dive resort was built by divers, for divers, and offers a complete and relaxing scuba getaway. The motif of the entire hotel is marine life with each of the rooms individually decorated in tropical elegance. Each room bears a fish name, and is decorated accordingly, with photographs and paintings of that fish, hand-carved door, hand carved keychains and handmade bedspreads.

The Mnuw Ship’s Bar & Grill is the most unique restaurant and bar in Micronesia if not the world. She is a 170ft (55m) Phinisi schooner from Indonesia with 3 dining decks, 2 bars and her kitchen all on board. Start your day with a gorgeous sunrise during breakfast. Or, unwind after a full day of activities with a cold beer or tropical beverage while swapping sea stories. The Manta Ray Restaurant is located on the main deck of the Mnuw and features rough-hewn beams and floors, teak walls, wall sconces, cozy nooks, intimate lighting and the wooden aroma and decoration of times gone by.

The food is inspired by Asian, local and European recipes with generous portions which are both wholesome and delicious. Daily delights such as homemade pizza, hamburgers and cheeseburgers and fresh fish sandwiches can be found on the daily menu. Top this off with our very own micro brewed beer from our very own Stone Money Brewing Company and you begin to understand why this restaurant is a hard to leave venue.

The Diving:

Our harborside dive center, Yap Divers, has everything you’d expect from a PADI 5-star facility and SSI Platinum Dive Center, and so much more. Yap Divers is a full-service facility with modern boats, rental gear, dive shop, camera bays, gear rinse and storage. Yap Divers offers exquisite diving for everyone, from beginners to experts with regularly scheduled drift dives, wall dives, cavern dives and night dives, as well as our specialty - Giant Manta dives.  

Giving the resort its name, manta rays frequent the area year-round. This Micronesian paradise also features abundant macro life, beautiful hard coral gardens and and abundance of marine life including reef sharks, dolphins, turtles, eagle rays, moray eels, schooling bumphead parrotfish, mandarin fish and octopi.

Whether it’s Mantas, the numerous sharks that patrol the walls, macro shots for the mating mandarin fish, or the beautiful swim-throughs at Yap caverns, there is something for everyone.
