About Gloria: I'm a lifelong educator, mom to two young adults, and long-time mindfulness and meditation practitioner, and Certified Mindfulness Instructor, and for me, practicing mindfulness is about bringing a practical and heart-centered approach to life and the present moment, whether it's going as I planned or feels like a disaster. With training that includes an undergraduate degree in Environmental Education and a Masters in Education; extensive training and Mindfulness Instructor certification with Mindful Schools; personal and ongoing Mindfulness Meditation studies with both my core teacher and others; and ongoing studies in emotional awareness, trauma- and stress-informed mindfulness support, inquiry, and self-acceptance, I offer an eclectic and varied experience to students and clients.
