The KonMari Method™ was developed by Marie Kondo, Japanese organizational guru and best-selling author of The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up. Her method became so popular that she decided to take her phenomenon world-wide.

In 2016, she began training KonMari consultants outside of Japan for the first time ever, and Amanda was thrilled to be a member of the inaugural class in New York in August 2016. In order to be certified, consultants must complete a rigorous process, including completing the tidying process in their own home, conducting heavily documented tidying sessions in client homes and completing a final exam. Having completed this process, Amanda is one of the world's first certified KonMari Consultants.
