Tiger and Magpie Painting

This handmade framed painting was recently done by PacifiCorp’s very own Hyun Joo Lee (the red stamp is her signature). Materials used were water color and rice paper. This type of paining is known as MinWha, a Korean traditional painting. Tiger and Magpie represents good luck to your home and your family and likewise keeps your family from bad luck. Magpie is usually represented as a bird calling for fortune and a Tiger is a misfortune-buster.
