"Tibet" Petreflection
This is a framed photograph, a Petreflection. The artist titled this "Tibet" as the image calls to mind the shapes, colors and imagery of that country. But it was not taken in Tibet, read on!
Artist's Statement on Petreflections
For nearly 20 years I’ve been looking sideways where earth and water meet at the edge of lakes, rivers, puddles.. any place where water is still and reflects the land with a mirror image. “Tibet” was seen in a small lake way up in the Highlands of Scotland in 2014. Sometimes the images I find are 2” wide. Other times, the image is 10’ wide. I love the magic and fantasy that is in earth's art pallet. I also have a FB page: Petreflections.
