Garden Coaching w/GROUNDWORKS

Garden Coaching / Consultation to anyone needing help with indoor or outdoor plants.

This would be a one time session on site of up to 2 hours anywhere in the Brooklyn or Manhattan.

Carmen Devito is a Garden designer/ builder with 20 years experience making gardens in the New York City area. With her  garden design  firm Groundworks Inc, she has created green oases on rooftops and in backyards all over the city and beyond.

Why I am donating:

I am thrilled to be part of this project to help Incarcerated teens improve their self esteem and introduce to them to the power of books because reading literally changed my world.

My little local library in Brooklyn was my refuge and my home a way from home. I often  borrowed the maximum allowed at a time and usually held on to them well past the due date - racking up a lot of fines along the way ! From Little House on the Prairie to Nancy Drew, these stories transformed me as a person and turned me into the book hoarder and unrepentant nerd  I am today.
