David Robinson 1992 Olympic Basketball Signed Trading Card

Signed and in great condition!

The 1992 United States men's Olympic basketball team, nicknamed the "Dream Team", was the first American Olympic team to feature active NBA players. The team is described by American journalists as the greatest sports team ever assembled. At the 1992 Summer Olympics held in Barcelona, the team defeated its opponents by an average of 44 points en route to the gold medal against Croatia.

The only male basketball athlete to be named to at least three Olympic teams, David ranks at the top of the list of all-time decorated United States Olympians.

He won gold medals at the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona and the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta. Robinson and the United States won the bronze medal in 1988, the last Olympic games that featured only amateur athletes and no NBA players. In addition to his three Olympic medals, Robinson aided the USA to gold medals in the 1986 FIBA World Championship and 1986 Goodwill Games, a silver medal at the 1987 Pan American Games and a gold medal at the 1992 Tournament of Americas (Olympic qualifying tournament).
