Yellowjacket F1 Car-Karl Erickson

This car is fast. Cut from Western Red Cedar. Hand-rubbed graphite & yellow wax for color, with a kid-friendly shellac finish. Durable 8mm axles and 90mm wheels. My son loves using a socket wrench to take the wheels off and rotate them. He calls it a “pit stop”. We’ve enjoyed many peaceful dinners by bringing small 13mm socket wrench and his F1 car. Body and wings are glued on for strength. Perfect size for kids and adults: 8” wide, 14” long.

Comes with a charcoal grey “Garage” (not shown in photo) to pretend and protect. 

Building these cars together, my son and I practice patience, creativity, teamwork and problem-solving. He probably teaches me more than I teach him. Please share them with someone you love.
