You cannot deduct, as a charitable contribution, amounts you pay to buy raffle or lottery tickets or to play bingo or other games of chance. (IRS Publication 526, Contributions from which you benefit). Wine & beer glasses constitute a “benefit” to you, and therefore may not be deducted as a charitable contribution.
