3 L Bottle of 2007 Chimney Rock Cabernet

An Excellent Stag’s Leap Cabernet in a rare 3 liter format from the prestigious 2007 vintage,  the highest rated vintage since 1999. This Chimney Rock Cabernet was rated a 92 by Wine Spectator

The tasting notes are:

Supple and harmonious offering tapered plum, wild berry and cedar notes with complex spices and touches of black licorice and nutmeg.  Full bodied and intense, yet elegant and stylish, ending with a subtle burst fo sweet light plum.  Drink now through 2012.  

This wine was stored perfectly and ages considerably slower in this double magnum or jeroboam. This bottle has been valued at least $875 by the Napa Valley producer who no longer even owns any of these bottles.  you cannot find this bottle.

This is Chimney Rock's best Stags Leap Cabernet since the 2005, and continues a string of successful vintages. Dry and smooth and silky in the mouth, it’s pretty tannic, but very rich, offering waves of cherry, blackberry, blueberry, cocoa and sweet cedar flavors. Absolutely delicious, wonderfully elegant, and should age well for a decade.
