Scott Lagasse -Bid to Play

Scott Lagasse Jr. (known as “Scotty” to those closest to him) was born and raised in St. Augustine, Florida. Scott went on to graduate with honors from Flagler College earning his Bachelors degree in Business Administration. Scotty’s commitment to excel in racing began at age 7 and includes winning races in motocross, karting, and many forms of auto racing. He has now focused his sights on winning at the top levels of NASCAR and the Trans Am Series.  

Scott is a stage I colon cancer survivor and joined Fight CRC to raise awareness about prevention. As a survivor, Scott’s passionate about making sure other people know about colorectal cancer – a cancer he was unaware of until his own diagnosis at age 33. Scott is a vocal supporter of Fight CRC’s One Million Strong campaign, and was the National Spokesman in 2017, as was Craig Campbell in 2015. Scotty is inspired by Craig, and also works with the organization to raise awareness of colorectal cancer amongst not only NASCAR fans but to anyone who will stop and listen to his powerful story.
