Vladimir Ossipoff's Liljestrand House Tour Tickets for Two in Honolulu

Built in 1952, the Liljestrand House is an outstanding example of architect Vladimir Ossipoff’s work and of mid-twentieth century Hawaiian modern architecture. Mr. Ossipoff’s designs are known for seamless integration of building and site, elegant orchestration of circulation, clever management of views and creative mix of modern and natural materials. 

Liljestrand House offers docent-led tours that give visitors a detailed look at the house and provide a discussion of the architect, the clients and the architectural principles behind the design.  Tours are approximately 90 minutes long.  

The house is located on Pu`u Ohia (Mount Tantalus) at 3300 Tantalus Drive in Honolulu, Hawai`i.

The Liljestrand Foundation is a nonprofit organization, created by the Liljestrand family in 2007 to preserve Liljestrand House, the tropical modern masterpiece designed by Vladimir Ossipoff, and to make that preservation beneficial to the community.
