Franklin Theater Painting by Artist Denise Hughes

Talented artist Denise Hughes created a beautiful and colorful painting of the historic Franklin Theater. The Franklin Theater was restored in 2011 by the Heritage Foundation of Franklin and Williamson County. The theater now includes a state-of-the-art sound and lighting system, and undeniable charm. It is destined to be an entertainment and cultural icon for years to come.

Denise has created murals throughout homes and businesses in the Triangle area including Marbles Kids Museum, historic churches, pediatric offices and numerous Wake Med Hospital facilities. She also works on canvas her home studio painting portraits and landscapes.  These works rely heavily upon personal photos.
