A cozy cottage on lots of land that exudes great warmth. It's the perfect place to declutter your mind and reconnect with yourself and those that you love.

The space

Quiet, newly renovated one bedroom cottage set on two open acres to roam is the perfect place to unwind. Surrounded on three sides by woods and on the other by our neighbor with a barn, you can get back to basics reading, writing, or going for long walks on quiet country roads.

Located on a dirt road that sees about fifteen cars a day, our adorable cedar-sided cottage is our home away from home that's perfect for an individual, a couple, a couple with small children, or a couple of couples looking to get away from it all. Though seemingly removed, it's conveniently located 15 minutes from restaurants, shops, and nightlife in Hudson and just 25 minutes from Great Barrington. Best of all is you are zero minutes from lounging in an Adironack chair under the shade of our large catalpa tree. Choose to sit and relax by the seasonal brook that runs the length of the back edge of our property or read and doze in our hammock resting between two spruce trees. The fire ring has seen lots of guitars and roasted marshmallows. If you must motivate and do something active, swimming, hiking and skiing in the winter are just minutes away.

You can completely unplug with our wireless fidelity views of trees and flowers, LCD double-paned flat-screen picture windows, and analog woodstove for entertainment. Cell service is available for phone
calls and Internet but not enough to always be on your phone :)

We have an outdoor shower, ping pong table, dart board, frisbee and all the sporting equipment for your enjoyment. If you choose not to grill on the front patio, you can cook in our tiny but full kitchen. Hawthorne Valley Farm store is ten minutes to our north, and there are seasonal farm stands even closer. Skiing and snowshoeing in the winter are either right out the front door or if you choose to downhill ski, Catamount is less than 15 minutes away.
