Ice Caves Hike

Guided Hike to Shingle Gully Ice Caves - You will be bidding on a private hike to one of the most beautiful and secret places in New York State! The Shingle Gully Ice Caves, accessible by permit only, is a magical place, home to a very unique and pristine ecosystem.

Just 12 people per day are granted access to this breathtaking location. It is wild, untouched, and exciting to explore! Hike through the amazing flora, scramble rocks, and climb in and out of caves. Soak in the beauty of this landscape in the world renowned Shawangunk Mountains.

Hike will be led by a fellow PS 130 parent who is an authorized docent of the Nature Conservancy for Sam's Point Preserve. Non-technical caves. Good level of fitness required.

Dates are flexible based on availability of permits. This prize is valid for up to 10 people, 16 years of age or older, with good level of fitness. Transportation for 2 available, if needed. Sturdy hiking shoes required.
