Intro to Backpacking ~ Women's Experience for Two (2)
The winner will receive an Intro to Backpacking, Women’s Experience for Two (2). If you've always wanted to enjoy the outdoors for a few nights with little more than a backpack and boots, this trip is for you!
On this two night and three day backpacking trip in *Deschutes National Forest, bring a friend and we'll explore the lakeshore and surrounding forest while keeping an eye out for the critters that call this area home. We'll traverse a few miles the first day to a peaceful campsite where we'll cook dinner and settle in for a tranquil night under the stars. Day two we'll relax, hike, take a swim or just explore the area. Day 3 we'll make breakfast and relax before packing up and hiking out. This adventure will be designed specifically for the winner to learn new skills, try something new or just get away for the weekend!
Before setting out, we'll get you set up with much of the gear you need, some food is provided, but please show up with your own personal sleeping bag.

*There are a lot of variables that go into the location for a backpacking trip including time of year, accessibility and overall usage. If you have questions about location and/or timing, we will plan a destination that suits your availability and preferences.
The most fun trips are with 3-4 people so if you can't decide on just one friend to bring, let **me know and we'll work it out. I'm super flexible so please just speak up. I'll email the winner to discuss!
About Me
I'm Amber, a Woodhaven mama, and I've been backpacking as far back as I can remember and far before it was considered a cool thing to do. I've backpacked solo through foreign countries wearing Converse and cotton (don't do it!) and through unknown forests with friends discussing how we saved a few ounces upgrading our camp stove. I hope to help you discover a new passion or, in the least, do something you always thought you couldn't.
