A View of the Future

Medium: Watercolor

Painted from a picture I took in Blackhawk, Colorado at an elevation of 9000 feet. I named it “A View of the Future“ because I was standing in the road in front of the land we own for our future retirement home. The view I want to wake up to for the rest of my days. The little A frame is on the property directly across the street and is a piece of history in the area. It was built by and lived in by the original settlers of this little bit of heaven in the mountains.
