After four years of art school, two at Ray Vogue Commercial Art School and two at Chicago Academy of Fine Arts, naturally I got a career in I.T. The only thing I could not draw back then was a decent salary; landlords and utility companies were strangely unsympathetic to my 'starving artist' gambit.
