Old Dog Haiku

I have a very old Shitsu named George. He is going on 18. He spends most of his day sleeping. I many times wonder what goes on in that little head of his. This painting is my best guess. I am an artist who writes haiku. I have been combining these two art forms for years and have published a book of haiku and illustrations: A Ghost Walking Through A Dream.
