Sits, but doesn't fit

For my cats, all the toys in the world can't compare to a simple cardboard box. They have nice, cozy cat beds, cat trees with hiding spaces, warm winter boots to snuggle in, couches with fluffy pillows, big dogs to snuggle with and, basically, the run of the house. What is their go to choice on comfort? Boxes! Even when they don't fit. I have given up buying fancy cat approved beds. My house now looks like we are in preliminary stages of moving, with boxes everywhere. My cats are happy and I have saved money by not buying the fancy cat things.
