The Fence and Everything Beyond

I've always seen fences used to separate things such as reality from fantasy, safety from terror, simplicity from adventure and even something as simple as a plain from a forest. I've always liked that kind of imagery and wanted to use it in my own work. In my work, the fence simply separates a grassland from a forest, sort of honoring the beauty in simplicity.
