Enjoy a game of tennis, golf, or croquet at the Historic Edgewood Club
Tennis, anyone? A round of golf or game of croquet? Your party of four is welcome to while away a summer’s day at Tivoli’s Edgewood Club. Founded in 1884, this secluded, private gem is one of the oldest golf and tennis clubs in the country. Hosted by a knowledgeable club member, you’ll hear of brothers Valentine and Edward Hall, Eleanor Roosevelt’s uncles, who, playing out of Edgewood, were runners-up in the 1892 national doubles championship. After a game, either on the club’s red clay courts, the sylvan nine-hole golf course, or the manicured croquet court, you may simply sit quietly in the cool of the deep clubhouse porch before enjoying a traditional Saturday tea. Whatever your choice, this will be a day to remember. To be scheduled between June and September 2024 on a date mutually agreed upon by the club and the winner. Contact information will be provided to the winning bidder for scheduling.
