John Blough - Ceramic Plate 17.5" DIA.

Large monumental platter by ceramicist John Blough measure 17.5 " in dia.2" h.

Blough taught ceramics at USC until 1967, when he took his position at Mt. San Antonio College, Walnut California, where he remained until his retirement in 2002. John was a studio potter whose work is found in private collections around the world. He served as President of the American Ceramics Society, showed his work in numerous galleries, and for thirty years participated in the Festival at St. Andrew's Abbey. In 2003, his work was displayed at the Cuttress Gallery in Pomona, CA along with well known potter/artists/ceramist Paul Soldner, Rupert Deese, and Harrison McIntosh.
