Dine at Espiau's, a Claremont Favorite for Over 30 years
Enjoy a delicious dinner at Espiau's ($100) known for its famous Espiau’s Mexican Salad and their Chips and Salsa.
Espiau's is a staple in the Pomona Valley that needs to be experienced. Started as a winery in 1890, over the years, Espiau, which was originally located in Pomona, evolved into the present day restaurant, which bears the founder's name (easily pronouced as S-P-O).
Because Espiau’s maternal grandmother, Sara Martinez, was a descendent of Don Ricardo Vejar, one of the grantees of the 20,000 acre land grant from Mexico Governor Juan B. Alvarado (later called Pomona Valley), Mexican food is proudly served. Espiau’s Restaurant was moved to Claremont in 1992 and has become a popular destination.
