Ricardo Rojas' personal statement reads in part: "I hesitate to define or classify my art because it is just these restrictions--words, classifications, definitions--that my art allows me to overcome. I can tell you where its roots are and what my desired intent is when it leaves me. . . . . As a person and an artist I am committed to creating healing and transformational artwork, utilizing the Heart image in many of my works as a crucial linkage in connecting all human beings. . . . . my hope is that these Heart-centered creations inspire and provoke the observer to experience a desire for growth, change, transformation and choices that enhance one's life in a global sense.
