Thresher Shark Divers (TSD) is British owned and run; one of the country's top PADI 5 Star CDC Dive Centers and a multiple award-winning dive shop. Our DMs are highly trained, each with thousands of dives around Malapascua and laser eyes to find all that hidden macro! And our instructor team is the most experienced on the island. There has never been a better time to come to Malapasua for thresher sharks. TSD has been diving a new site and the sightings have been amazing - the best in the 14 years we have been here! This site rarely has other boats so you can experience spectacular thresher sightings on its many cleaning stations without a lot of other divers around. And sightings are good year-round. The dive site is a “swimming” site rather than a site where the divers are stationary and waiting so there is the chance to see many other creatures like frogfish and ghost pipefish as well as other pelagics like rays and other sharks!

There is an early morning thresher shark dive scheduled every day. TSD is the only shop that regularly offers double shark dives (sometimes we even get tiger sharks!), as well as 3-dive day trips starting with the 5am shark dive, giving you extra time for more diving or enjoying the island.

This is an advanced dive site. If you do not have Advanced Open Water certification, kindly advise the shop and they will let you know your options.

TSD offers 4 -5 dives a day (including a dusk or night dive). You can choose your dives from our daily schedule which usually includes several sites in each time slot.

Tanks, weights, and dive master

Thresher Shark Tshirt, mask strap or log book with all dive packages of 10 or more dives

Transport
Hotel - Thresher Shark divers can assist with hotel bookings

Marine park fees of $5.75 per day, Monad Shoal marine protection fee of $2.00 per day.
Night dive surcharge - $5.75
Fuel surcharges for longer trips e.g. Dona Marilyn, Kalanggaman, Kimud, Gato and New! Capitancillo and Sambawan trips.
