19th Century Microscope by Henry Crouch -3 Eyepieces

Attention science-minded bidders and collectors. This auction item is an original brass Henry Crouch of London working microscope with 3 eyepieces.  Also includes a glass dome for display.

After he apprenticed for several years, Henry Crouch began making microscopes for his own company in early 1862 with his younger brother, William.  The partners focused on producing good-quality, less-expensive models for middle-class microscopists and medical students. In particular, Crouch brought out a greatly-admired binocular microscope. This piece is a rare find.
