Day Paddle to Stairway Portage - limit 8 people
Guide, GTHS Executive Director, Mark Hennessy will share cultural and natural history of this area to 8 lucky paddlers.
Mark, has a life-long addiction to the Gunflint Trail, beginning with a five summer stint as a canoe guide at YMCA Camp Menogyn, and seasonal work at Bearskin Lodge.
Up to 8 people will enjoy a trip into the BWCA by canoe to visit the iconic Stairway Portage and Rose Falls with optional hike(s) to Rose Cliffs overlooking the Canadian Border, or on the Border Route Trail to the South Lake overlook. A trail lunch, permit, and all equipment including canoes will be provided.
You pick the seven friends that get to go along on this spectacular outting for the day. Plan a full-day paddling, portaging, and exploring along this famous route.
The winning bidder will be contacted to set up a date and time that will work best for everyone.
