Vintage Moss Rose Tea Set
Have a tea party for 6 with this Vintage Moss Rose tea set. Manufactured in the 1950's - 1960's , probably in Japan and used frequently in the US during the 1960's. The Moss Rose pattern was a popular design and carried by several china/ceramic manufacturers. All pieces are in mint condition; ready to use and perhaps pass along as a future heirloom, as these have been.
One exception is the unique teapot that features a built-in music box! It plays “Tea for Two” when lifted from the table. Currently the music box is not functioning properly, but it appears that the only issue is a broken clock spring. The broken spring will be included in the event that a repair is possible, otherwise a new spring from a clock or watch repair shop should have this singing once again.
