Solid Cherry Executive Desk
This solid cherry executive desk with brass hardware belonged to Hurley resident Emil “Butch” Zullo. It measures 52”wide x 30” wide x 22” deep. It comes with a heavy glass top that has kept the classic leather insert in almost flawless condition. The desk was made by National Mt. Airy Furniture Company in North Carolina.
“Butch” was a much loved and respected history teacher at MJM Junior High and Kingston High School, where he was part of a group of teachers that developed the law program there that became a model for other NYS schools. Butch’s wife Barbara purchased the desk as a gift for Butch to use for his law studies.
