Tea Time! Fortnum & Mason Super Hamper

This Fortnum & Mason Super Hamper contains a delightful selection of English teas, biscuits, and jams, with a bonus jar of orange vintage marmalade, all from Fortnum & Mason.

In this classic Royal Blend, notes of Flowery Pekoe from Sri Lanka uplift the maltier Assam to create a traditional cup of tea. First blended for King Edward in 1902, Fortnum’s Royal Blend has been popular ever since for its smooth, honey-like flavor. An upgrade on your regular morning brew, Royal Blend makes it an ideal partner to a strong breakfast marmalade or lunchtime Rarebit.

Assam tea, indigenous to India’s steamy Brahmaputra Valley, is one of the world’s oldest varieties. The aptly named Assam Superb has the rich, dark liquor and smooth, round, malty flavor prized by the connoisseur. Bold and satisfying, it pairs perfectly with savory Afternoon Tea sandwiches like Ham and Mustard or Smoked Salmon.

Fortnum’s shortbread is handmade in Edinburgh by a small, family-run bakery, which uses high-quality raw ingredients to ensure that each biscuit has that authentic crumbly texture and freshly baked taste. These shortbread fingers are made to Fortnum’s recipe. They are presented in an elegant box, which, in true Fortnum’s style, blends the old with the new, featuring traditional Scottish symbols reworked in bright, contemporary colors.

Warming and energizing, this wonderfully buttery biscuit is made with a dash of warm-hearted stem ginger, which adds a comforting, spicy warmth and a delicious chewiness to this already irresistible biscuit. The perfect treat for a mid-afternoon pick-me-up or as a moreish companion to a cup of inviting Fortnum’s famous tea.

Give your taste buds cause for celebration with Fortnum’s boozy, silky Marc de Champagne Truffles, nestling in a glamorous new drum. Made in England with an exclusive recipe, each truffle features an intense center of Marc de Champagne-infused ganache, coated in creamy milk chocolate and finished with a dusting of icing sugar. These truffles are bestsellers at Fortnum’s.

Deep in flavor, orange in color, and sublimely citrusy in taste. Noted 1920s actor-manager Sir Nigel Playfair was used to getting what he wanted - like the thick-cut, tough-guy marmalade remembered from his childhood rather than the effete flapper versions fashionable at the time. So Fortnum & Mason made this marmalade for him and discovered he was rightFollow Sir Nigel by putting it on your morning toast.

This marmalade gives you and your breakfast a lift for the day. Made with sweet rather than Seville oranges and a generous helping of both Champagne and Marc de Champagne. An equally delicious but longer-lasting bucks fizz in a jar.

Classic English preserve made by gently cooking sweet, soft berries to create a rich, ruby red color and delicious taste.
The age-old question… cream before jam or jam before cream? No answer is needed if you choose to delight in this raspberry preserve on a scrumptious scone.

Fortnum & Mason’s bees are fond of lime trees. The result is honey with a fresh, clean, and minty taste and a thick and creamy texture. This honey is delicious on toast —100% honey.
