Tasting Notes

Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label manages to reconcile two opposing factors - strength and silkiness - and to hold them in perfect balance with aromatic intensity and a lot of freshness. This consistent power to please makes it ideal as an aperitif, and perfect as the Champagne to enjoy with a meal.

Tasting Notes

"The rich, slightly sweet, apple flavors are enticing and prove that California is indeed the Sunshine State. This Un-Oaked Chardonnay is crisp and clean, and it slightly lingers on your palate with apples, followed by citrus and pear flavors."

Only select parcels of Shiraz grown on both red & black soils over limestone on the Davey Estate vineyard are chosen for this wine. The wine is hand-crafted in small open & static fermenters to maximize the potential of each small parcel of fruit. Maturation for an average of 13 months in new – 6-year-old fine-grained American and French oak hogsheads –  softens, enhances & integrates the fruit & structural components of the wine.”

Tasting Notes from Decanter, Wine Score: 93/100

Perfumed and floral with blueberry, rose, strawberry notes. A concentrated palate with evident oak, a touch of eucalyptus, and mint.

“The flagship range of La Mascota wines is the most important range for the winery making up the majority of their production... The La Mascota line includes monovarietal Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz, and Cabernet Franc red wines aged in French and American oak barrels for up to a year.” Read more about Mascota Vineyards >

Tasting Notes

La Mascota Cabernet Sauvignon displays a deep red color with hints of violet. Aromas of licorice, cassis and warm raspberry jam. Elegant touch of roasted pepper and chocolate. Full-bodied, complex and very long aftertaste.
